ScraperCity Terms & Conditions

1. Service Description
ScraperCity ("we", "us") operates scrapercity.com and provides API routing and billing infrastructure that facilitates access to third-party computational resources ("Scrapers"). We do not execute, host, or operate any data extraction activities. All actual data processing is performed by independent third-party services. ScraperCity functions solely as a technical intermediary. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their use complies with all applicable laws, third-party terms of service, and intellectual property rights. All liability rests with you.
2. Account Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter binding agreements
- You are fully responsible for all activity conducted through your account and API keys
- Account sharing, credential transfer, or unauthorized access attempts will result in immediate termination
3. Credits & Billing

| Free Trial Credit | $5 credit provided upon registration. Unused free credit does not roll over. |
| Subscription Plans | Billed in advance each billing cycle. Upgrades / downgrades are not prorated. |
| Purchased Credits | Consumed when you run a Scraper. If your paid plan lapses, all purchased credits expire immediately. |
3.1 Payment Terms
All payments are final. No refunds, chargebacks, or credits will be issued for any reason including service interruption, account termination, or unused credits. Disputed charges may result in immediate account suspension.
3.2 Unauthorized Usage & Exploitation
If you exploit any bug, vulnerability, or system error to obtain services without proper payment, or exceed your credit balance through any means, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file for the full retail value of all services received, plus a 100% penalty fee. This includes but is not limited to: exploiting race conditions, payment processing delays, API vulnerabilities, or any other technical defect. You waive any right to dispute such charges.
4. Acceptable Use & Compliance
Users represent and warrant that they:
- Have conducted appropriate legal review for their jurisdiction and use case
- Will not extract personal data without lawful basis under applicable privacy laws
- Will not use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose
- Will not attempt to circumvent billing, rate limits, or access controls
Automated access via undocumented APIs, credential sharing, or billing manipulation will result in immediate termination and forfeiture of all credits.
5. Privacy & Data Handling
We may collect, store, process, analyse, aggregate, or commercialise any information you submit or generate while using ScraperCity (including account details, payment info, request logs, scraped results, and personal data). By using the service you grant us an unrestricted, perpetual licence to do so. You are solely responsible for obtaining any required consents related to personal data.
6. Intellectual Property
All extracted data is delivered "as-is" without any warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, or legality. You acknowledge that you obtain no rights to any third-party intellectual property through our service. Any intellectual property infringement claims remain your sole responsibility.
7. Service Fulfillment
Services are considered fulfilled once third-party extraction results are made available through our interface, regardless of whether you retrieve them. We do not control the actual extraction process and make no guarantees about third-party service performance. No credits will be refunded for completed requests.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCRAPERCITY'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS. WE DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ScraperCity, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (i) your use of our services; (ii) your violation of these terms; (iii) your violation of any third-party rights; or (iv) any data extraction activities you conduct. This indemnification survives termination.
10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the District Court of Reykjavík, with all proceedings, filings, and arguments conducted in Icelandic.

11. Severability
If any provision is deemed unenforceable, remaining provisions continue in full effect. The unenforceable provision shall be replaced with an enforceable provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
12. Modifications
We may modify these terms at any time by posting updated versions. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Users are responsible for reviewing terms regularly.
13. No Agency Relationship
ScraperCity does not act as your agent, partner, or joint venturer. Any data extraction you perform is solely on your own behalf and at your own risk.
